LEED Certification & Benchmarking

QuEST has invested in staff and resources that enable us to assist customers to participate in certification programs including Environmental Protection Agency’s EnergyStar program and the US Green Building Council’s LEED for Existing Buildings and Commercial Interiors programs.

LEED

QuEST provides project-specific consulting services to developers seeking LEED certification under the Existing Buildings and Commercial Interiors rating systems. QuEST also conducts reviews of projects seeking LEED certification through the US Green Building Council. As a third party reviewer, this work requires a high level of technical expertise, knowledge in sustainable design, and experience with building commissioning.

Our LEED Accredited Professional team consists of two registered Professional Engineers, three certified LEED BD+C, and one LEED GA. Our team has completed more than 450 reviews both nationally and internationally.

Energy Star Energy Benchmarking

QuEST consistently ranks in the Top 50 on the US Department of Energy’s Most Active Energy Star Service and Product Providers List. Using the Environmental Protection Agency’s EnergyStar Portfolio Manager, QuEST staff has benchmarked the energy performance of over 600 buildings in 20 cities. QuEST has interacted extensively with city staff and business owners, and leveraged partnerships with a major Investor Owned Utility and local nonprofit groups to reach such a milestone in this ongoing initiative. Our follow-through includes benchmarking training workshops to help clients determine next steps based on the benchmarking data received.
