Data Center Optimization Program

Improving your datacenter's efficiency saves you money.
We can make it happen.

Data Center Optimization Program

SVP's Data Center Optimization Program (DCOP) is designed to address the challenges of reducing energy use and operating expenditures while maintaining superior reliability in today's data centers. DCOP is a new program funded by Silicon Valley Power that provides rebates and incentives for energy efficiency improvements ranging from cooling control strategies and variable frequency drives on CRAC/CRAH units, to server virtualization and active power management. Performed by experienced data center engineers, Quantum Energy Services & Technologies (QuEST) provides a comprehensive set of engineering analyses and innovative energy saving measures recommended for data centers at no cost to you.

Participation in the program does not require intrusive design changes to the data center environment, and will not interfere with the center's normal operation. In addition, program participants have the flexibility to purchase and install equipment from their vendor of choice. Funding is limited and the program is available on a first-come, first-served basis, while funding lasts.

Benefits

  • No-cost services - a thorough data center cooling operations assessment performed by qualified engineering professionals.
  • Significant rebates are available for installing program measures.
  • Documentation of systems and procedures to keep your facility's cooling system running efficiently.

Requirements

  • You must be a Silicon Valley Power customer.
  • Data center should have an area of less than or equal to 10,000 square feet.
  • Initial engineering analysis conducted by QuEST must show energy savings potential.
